Pentair Filter Nozzle & Strainer Indonesia

Select a Pentair filter nozzle or distributor from vessel diameter, opening size, media type and size, service and backwash flow, connection, material, and the assembly drawing. This in-vessel component distributes flow and retains media; it is not the same as a Y-strainer, basket strainer, or cartridge filter installed in pipework.

PT Watermart Perkasa supplies Pentair components through water.co.id for media-filter and softener systems in Indonesia. Buyers should send the vessel and process data needed to check the part number, adapters, seals, and assembly compatibility before quotation.

Pentair top strainer for a media-filter vessel

Top Strainer, Hub-and-Lateral, or Stack Diffuser?

All three are in-vessel distribution arrangements, but they cannot be interchanged from nominal diameter alone. Installation position, vessel opening, thread or flange, riser height, media, flow, and installation access must match the current drawing.

Configuration to checkStarting evidence or labelData that must be confirmed
Top-strainer assemblyAn existing label such as 24”, 30”, or 36” × 72” 4T4BPart number, vessel diameter and height, top opening, top/bottom quantity, riser connection, slot or screen, and drawing
Bottom hub-and-lateralPentair instruction CH5812 for 14–36 inch composite tanks with 4–8 inch straight-thread openingsVessel diameter, opening, lateral length, hub, adapter, O-ring, and compatibility with the actual tank model
Larger bottom hub-and-lateralPentair instruction CH5821 for 21–36 inch FRP tanks with 6–8 inch straight-thread openingsAll vessel dimensions, lateral quantity and arrangement, riser system, backwash flow, and drawing revision
Bottom stack diffuserPentair instruction CH12157 for a 63-inch composite vessel with a 6-inch flangeVessel model, flange, stack height, seals, assembly access, and installation sequence

Pentair references stored on this site: 14–36 inch hub-and-lateral assembly, 21–36 inch hub-and-lateral assembly, and 63-inch stack diffuser. All three are dated 2016 and were reviewed on 31 July 2026; request the current drawing and revision for the unit being offered.

What Data Is Needed to Select a Distributor?

Do not order from a photograph or outside diameter alone. Prepare the following data package so Watermart can check the configuration:

  1. brand, model, serial number, internal diameter, height, and nameplate photograph of the FRP vessel;
  2. size and type of the top and bottom openings, thread or flange type, and connection dimensions;
  3. filter-media type, effective size or particle range, bed depth, support media, and freeboard;
  4. normal and peak service flow, backwash flow, water temperature, and operating pressure;
  5. control-valve model, riser size, adapters, O-rings, and any components to be reused;
  6. existing assembly drawing, part numbers from the packaging or component, unit quantity, and project location.

The distributor opening must retain the selected media without creating unsuitable pressure loss. Do not infer slot size, open area, or flow limit from a photograph; use the correct model drawing and technical data.

What Should Be Checked during Installation?

Confirm that the system is depressurised, the vessel is correctly ventilated, and the site work procedure is followed. Pentair instructions emphasise O-ring position and component alignment. Do not overtighten parts or alter laterals to make them fit without approval against the drawing.

Before loading media, inspect every hub, lateral, diffuser, riser, adapter, and seal. After assembly and media loading, complete initial fill and backwash under the media and valve procedures; record media carry-over, differential pressure, flow, and filtrate quality as the baseline.

Buyer Questions about Pentair Filter Nozzles

Is a filter nozzle the same as a pipe strainer?

No. On this page, the nozzle or distributor sits inside a vessel to distribute flow and retain the media bed. A pipe strainer or cartridge housing is a different component with different selection criteria.

Can a distributor be selected from tank diameter alone?

No. Vessel diameter is only one input. The opening, top or bottom position, media, riser, adapter, seals, service and backwash flow, and assembly drawing must match.

Are 24, 30, and 36 inch top strainers always in stock?

The size labels on this page are identification starting points, not a stock promise. Send the part number and drawing; PT Watermart Perkasa will check specification fit and availability at the time of quotation.

Where can buyers request a Pentair nozzle or distributor in Indonesia?

Send the vessel and process data through the Watermart contact page. For a new design, also describe the media-filtration application, source water, and operating target.
