HFU-B2315AN

HFU-B2315AN is a pressurised PVDF hollow-fibre UF module. Evaluate it from feed conditions, flow direction, target flux, backwash duty, chemical cleaning, connections, and the limits in the applicable datasheet.

Compare these models by membrane area, module configuration, design flow, pressure drop, footprint, and skid support. Do not establish module count from nominal flow alone; include backwash time, cleaning time, and a one-module-under-service case if supply cannot stop.

When is UF more suitable than RO?

Consider UF when the main targets are suspended solids, turbidity, and microorganisms within the product’s performance limits, while dissolved salts do not need reduction. If testing shows that TDS or dissolved ions must be lowered, evaluate Toray brackish-water RO membranes.

Does a 0.01-micron pore rating make water immediately ready to drink?

No. A membrane rating is not proof of drinking-water safety by itself. The system requires suitable pretreatment, integrity testing, commissioning, sanitation, operating records, representative sampling, and testing against applicable Indonesian drinking-water requirements.

Which operating changes require investigation?

Rising transmembrane pressure, falling normalised flux, more frequent backwash, changed filtrate turbidity, or a failed integrity check should be investigated. Check feed quality, valves, pumps, instruments, cleaning, and module condition before assigning a cause.
