Pentair Siata Filter & Softener Systems

Select Pentair Siata filter or softener systems in Indonesia by service and backwash flow, tank size, media, controls, regeneration, and redundancy needs.

Pentair Siata is a valve and packaged-system range for media filters, softeners, and commercial or industrial deionisation duties. Select the configuration from service and backwash flow, tank diameter, media or resin, regeneration sequence, target water quality, controls, space, and redundancy—not from connection size alone.

PT Watermart Perkasa, operating through water.co.id, supplies water-treatment components in Indonesia and helps buyers match Pentair Siata systems to application data. Watermart also provides comparison paths for Pentair Fleck, Pentair Autotrol, FRP tanks, and DIONIX ion-exchange resin.

Updated 30 July 2026: selection guidance, technical evidence, and buyer FAQs were clarified.

Which Pentair Siata system fits the application?

Start with process duty and hydraulic data. Pentair’s C&I brochure describes Siata as a composite multiport-valve range for packaged systems, including filters, softeners, and DI applications; final configuration must still follow the approved model, document revision, and project conditions.

Buyer requirementConfiguration to assessMinimum data before selection
Sand, carbon, or multimedia filterSiata valve for service, backwash, and rinseService flow, backwash flow, tank diameter, media type and volume, drain
Water softenerValve and controller with brine draw, slow rinse, fast rinse, and refillHardness, peak flow, resin volume, working capacity, salt dose, regeneration schedule
Deionisation or chemical regenerationSuitable valve, wetted materials, controller, and ejectorRegenerant, concentration, temperature, sequence, compatibility, waste handling
Parallel, twin, or multiplex systemMultiple tanks with documented sequencing and redundancyContinuous-duty need, flow turndown, standby units, space, interlocks, backwash strategy

The Pentair Commercial & Industrial System Solutions brochure, published in 2018, supports the packaged-system architecture but does not replace a current model data sheet. Obtain the revision valid at procurement before using capacity figures, controller features, or efficiency claims.

What evidence does the packaged-system brochure provide?

Pentair’s 2018 brochure documents a modular-kit concept for commercial and industrial filtration, softening, and media treatment. Use it to understand system architecture, then obtain current model data sheets for selection and procurement.

Evidence in the brochureHow to use it safely
Tank, valve, controller, piping, and accessory combinationsMatch every component code to the quotation drawing and bill of materials
Single, parallel, twin, and multiplex examplesRecalculate service flow, backwash, turndown, standby units, and pressure drop
Fleck, Autotrol, and Siata ranges within packaged systemsCompare valve mechanism, connections, controller, cycle sequence, and model availability
Viridion controller option on specified configurationsConfirm compatibility, firmware revision, sensor, set point, and acceptance test

When should Viridion and multi-tank options be assessed?

Pentair’s brochure describes Viridion as a controller option that monitors salinity during regeneration and stops rinsing when its set water-quality criterion is reached. Current availability, valve compatibility, savings, and acceptance testing must be confirmed for the proposed model and project; an old brochure example is not a savings guarantee for a new site.

A multi-tank arrangement is worth comparing when a facility needs continuous flow, backwashing without stopping all production, redundancy, or easier equipment access. The decision still requires a hydraulic, footprint, valve-count, backwash-pump, controller, energy, spare-parts, and total-cost comparison.

What data should a Siata quotation request include?

Send the water analysis, quality target, minimum-normal-peak flow, available backwash flow, tank diameter and opening, media or resin type and volume, pressure, drain, cycle sequence, controller, power, space, unit count, and commissioning scope. For a retrofit, include photographs of valve, tank, injector, controller, and piping nameplates.

Watermart can compare that evidence with Fleck, Autotrol, and Siata options. Submit the data through the Watermart contact page so goods, accessories, spare parts, and service scope can be stated clearly.

Pentair Siata buyer questions

What is the difference between Siata, Fleck, and Autotrol?

All three sit within Pentair’s portfolio, but valve mechanisms, controllers, capacities, connections, accessories, and cycle sequences differ. Select from system data and model documents, not brand or pipe size alone.

Can a Siata filter valve be used directly on a softener?

Not necessarily. A softener needs suitable brine draw, slow rinse, fast rinse, refill, injector, and regeneration programming. Verify the valve code, controller, and internal configuration.

When is a twin or multiplex system needed?

Consider twin or multiplex operation when supply must continue while one unit regenerates, backwashes, or is serviced. Determine unit count from flow profile, turndown, redundancy, and the consequence of stopping treatment.

Does selecting Siata equipment make water ready to drink?

No. Equipment selection alone does not establish drinking-water safety. The system still needs applicable Indonesian requirements, commissioning, sanitation, consumable and regeneration logs, representative sampling, and laboratory verification before release for that use.
